January 2025 has marked a significant milestone for businesses across the island of Ireland with the launch of Employee Ownership Ireland (EOI), a new member-led community dedicated to fostering the growth of employee ownership. The launch event was an inspiring gathering of thought leaders, business pioneers, and policymakers united by their shared commitment to this progressive model.
The event featured keynote addresses from internationally renowned experts, including Graeme Nutall, a leading advocate for employee ownership, alongside a panel of business leaders who have embraced the model. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in insightful discussions, connect with peers, and explore the resources and support EOI will offer its members.
EOI aims to provide a central hub for information, training, and networking, ensuring businesses across Ireland have the tools they need to transition to employee ownership successfully. Catherine Muldoon, EOI’s Project Officer, shared her excitement: “The launch of EOI represents a new chapter for employee ownership in Ireland.
